First Prize, Bath Christmas market

Chosen by the Mayor of Bath, Papillon Rouge was delighted to win the first prize at the prestigious Bath Christmas market 2009.

The prize for best chalet stall was won by Maya Ullman Mason, 39, a jewellery maker who runs Papillon Rouge in Cornwall.
Mayor Councillor Colin Barrett said he was impressed with Mrs Ullman Mason’s chalet decoration.
“I chose her chalet because of all the effort she had gone to. She even wallpapered two of the walls,” he said.
Mrs Ullman Mason, a former film and set designer, who is seven month pregnant, lined the walls of her chalet with deep red fabrics, ivory wallpaper, antique boxes and ornate frames.
Mr Barret was also full of praise for the whole market.
